• Email the Anchorage Assembly members immediately and insist they slow down the AO 2015-49 process. To reach all Assembly members, email wwmas@muni.org;
• On May 12th 2015, attend the assembly meeting and testify against the ordinance that approves knocking down the 4th Avenue Theatre;
• Educate your self and others about this beautiful community jewel;
• Contact every Anchorage voter and urge them to get in touch with their Assembly representative. Tell 'em "savethe4th.org!"

The theatre was built in 1947 by Cap Lathrop as his legacy to Alaska. It is the only art deco building of its kind in Alaska. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.
